The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver

The is one of my all time favorite books. Although I read it so long ago that I don't remember many details. I liked the setting, I liked the characters and the fact that the author follows the characters through a few decades of their lives. I would recommend this to anyone - although I think women especially enjoy it because it is about a family of girls.

I also love this book. It was so good on so many levels. The story, the characters, the writing, the message, the setting...all of it. A great book by a great author. (I love Barbara Kingsolvers Bean Trees and Animal Dreams books too.)

This is easily in my top three favorite books of all time. I've read it over and over again and I never get bored of it.
I also love Kingsolver's other books--all of them.
