If you haven't read this classic coming of age story yet, you absolutely must. It is a story of a young Irish girl in Brooklyn at the turn of the century (the last century that is). I love this book and it is one of my all time favorites. A gem.
I too thought this was a great book. I can't seem to get enough of growing up stories, or maybe every story has an element of becoming aware of the world around us.
Anyone is welcome! If you would like to be a contributor, please leave a comment stating so. Also, when you post please make sure you post a label with the genre and/or the general topic of the book. That way people can search the blog for a specific type of book. Don't forget to leave your comments if you've read a book that has been reviewed. The more opinions the better!

This is one of my favorite books ever, of all time. I don't know why it is so great. It just is.
I loved this book. I also recently read "The Glass Castle". It has a similar feel to it and I would recommend it as well.
